Thompson was integral to Golden State’s championships in 2015, ’17, ’18, and ’22 and their NBA Finals appearances in 2016 and ’19. In the 2023-24 season, Thompson averaged 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, shooting 43.2% overall and 38.7% from three-point range. However, it was the first season since 2013-14 where he played 70 or more games and didn’t average at least 20 points per game.
