Ex-Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell has inked a rookie deal with the Colts.
Adonai Mitchell, a former Texas Longhorns wide receiver, has inked a deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
In AUSTIN, Adonai Mitchell has now formally entered into an agreement with the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts announced on Thursday that the former Texas Longhorns receiver has signed his rookie contract, becoming the last Colts draft pick to do so.
Despite performing well at the combine and being projected as a first-round pick, Mitchell experienced a significant drop in the draft before being chosen by the Colts in the second round at pick No. 52 overall. This clearly didn’t sit well with him.
“Right now, the only thing I’m feeling is I’m just kinda pissed,” Mitchell expressed after being drafted, according to Fox 59 Indianapolis. “I don’t really know what other way to call it.”
