Pittsburgh Steelers head coach exclaimed after being embarrassed by the…

Pittsburgh While Russell Wilson will continue to play in “pole position” when he returns, the Pittsburgh Steelers are beginning to notice something exceptional from Justin Fields.

Throughout Steelers training camp, Fields has become better every day. He began with a few plays that went viral and has since developed into a reliable quarterback who makes plays on a rep-by-rep basis.

Head coach Mike Tomlin stated, “Justin has really taken advantage of the opportunity for additional snaps because Russ was out some here the first week.” “And so really excited about the trajectory of it, excited about it, continue to go with the process and having them display their skills.”

Fields is now reportedly “opening some eyes” within the Steelers organization. Fields’ play is starting to compel the team to at least contemplate a true battle before the end of camp, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who made the comment during an interview on NFL Live.

The play element has developed to the point where Fields merits discussion. Though it’s early, the development could be equally as thrilling as the show itself. Fields is shown not only his potential but also his ability to improve with time. And it’s difficult to avoid believing that he will make significant progress over the course of a whole season given the leaps he’s already accomplished in only one week.

Wilson isn’t as athletic as Fields, but he’s not a stiff in the backfield, especially in this early stage. Wilson could come out and end all of this discussion by demonstrating that, as of right now, he is the superior choice. Nevertheless, the longer Fields plays, the more the Steelers get to see what kind of offensive force they can put together with him. Additionally, it appears to be an interesting offensive right
