I’m sorry to bring some somber news to the Slow AF Running Club. We recently learned that one of our cherished members, Jane Miller, has passed away unexpectedly. Jane, known for her kindness and positive spirit, had been with the club for over five years. Her warm smile and encouraging words were a constant source of motivation for all of us.
Jane’s love for running was matched only by her passion for community. She organized numerous group runs, always ensuring that every member felt included and supported. Her dedication to helping others reach their personal goals was truly inspiring. Whether she was running alongside a beginner or offering tips to seasoned runners, Jane’s presence was always uplifting.
Her sudden departure leaves a void in our hearts and in the fabric of our club. We will deeply miss her enthusiasm and the way she made each run a bit brighter with her energy. It’s difficult to put into words how much she meant to all of us, and our thoughts are with her family during this incredibly challenging time.
To honor Jane’s memory, we are planning a tribute run in her name. Details will be shared soon, but we encourage everyone to come together to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to our running community. In the meantime, let us all remember Jane for the incredible person she was and keep her spirit alive in our runs and our hearts.
