Matt Peet has explained the absence of Liam Farrell, with the Wigan Warriors going without their captain for Saturday’s Super League semi-final against Leigh Leopards.

 

Farrell is out due to illness, with Sam Walters instead starting in the back row alongside Junior Nsemba. The veteran, meanwhile, has been fighting the virus for the last fortnight, with Wigan having no game last week after finishing top of the pile as league leaders.
