Cornerback Kevin King and wide receiver Chris Blair, two standouts during the team’s exhibition season, were added to the game-day roster Saturday.
The Falcons will play the Steelers at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in both teams’ season openers.
King, a former starter for the Green Bay Packers, has not played in the last two seasons. He’s seeking to revive his once-promising NFL career. Antonio Hamilton Sr. was declared out with a groin injury on Friday, leaving the Falcons without a cornerback.
The Falcons have just five wide receivers on their 53-man roster. Blair, who led the club in exhibition games with eight catches for 154 yards, will provide the squad with the usual six wide receiver options
