Good news and bad news for Notre Dame football fans

Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman talked to the media on Saturday about the upcoming College Football Playoff game against Penn State in the Orange Bowl.

The most important news for fans is the latest on injuries to some key players for the Fighting Irish. There is some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that running back Jeremiyah Love and defensive tackle Howard Cross will be available to play. The bad news is that tight end Cooper Flanagan will not be able to play. Love and Cross both came out of the game with Georgia because of injuries.

Coach Freeman also talked about the challenges Penn State presents for his team and he stressed that his team must put in the work and keep their focus on improving
