Despite swirling rumors, the Minnesota Vikings have reportedly made their final call on the possibility of signing Aaron Rodgers. With the franchise focused on its future, this decision is huge for the 2025 season
The Minnesota Vikings do not want to sign Aaron Rodgers despite recent reports from Mike Silver and Dianna Russini pointing to a possible interest in the veteran quarterback. Adam Schefter confirmed that, with many rumors swirling, there is no chance of that happening.
“I’m not including Minnesota in the Aaron Rodgers
conversation until I have a reason to have some form of evidence that that’s something we need to take realistically.”
The information indicates that head coach Kevin O’Connell trusts that J.J. McCarthy is the right one to lead the franchise to the Super Bowl. Although Rodgers is a very appealing name to replace Sam Darnold, that would not be the path to follow.
