Legendary NHRA driver John Force has officially announced that the 2025 season will be his last, bringing an end to one of the most storied careers in professional drag racing history. The 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion, known for his fierce competitive spirit and larger-than-life personality, has been a dominant force in the sport for over four decades.

 

Force, 75, has amassed more than 150 career wins, making him the winningest driver in NHRA history. His success on the track, combined with his commitment to the growth of drag racing, has made him an icon in motorsports. Through his team, John Force Racing, he has mentored and developed numerous drivers, including his daughters Brittany and Ashley Force Hood, as well as reigning Funny Car champion Austin Prock.
