Latest news: Arch Manning made an unexpected speech regarding his head….

Arch Manning, the highly anticipated freshman quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, has consistently expressed admiration and gratitude toward his head coach, Steve Sarkisian. In interviews, Manning praised Sarkisian’s transparent and demanding coaching style, stating, “Sark is one of the realist guys I know. He keeps it 100 with you and expects a lot out of you. And that’s good. That’s what I want.”

Manning’s appreciation for Sarkisian’s leadership is mutual. Coach Sarkisian has lauded Manning’s humility and work ethic, noting, “First of all, Arch is a great kid, he was a joy to recruit… He came in with a ton of humility, you know, [he’s] an extremely humble young man, he’s a great teammate.”

Throughout the 2024 season, Manning served as a backup, gaining valuable experience and insight under Sarkisian’s mentorship. When called upon, he delivered impressive performances, including a notable 67-yard touchdown run against UTSA. His development under Sarkisian’s guidance has been a testament to their effective coach-player relationship.

Looking ahead, with Quinn Ewers entering the NFL Draft, Manning is poised to assume the starting quarterback role for the Longhorns in the 2025 season. Both he and Coach Sarkisian are optimistic about building on their established rapport to lead the team to success.
