Tuscaloosa, Ala. – The Crimson Tide’s tight end room was already thin heading into spring practice. With the departures of CJ Dippre and Robbie Outz to the NFL, Washington transfer Josh Cuevas and redshirt junior Danny Lewis Jr. were expected to be the next two up in line to start for Alabama.
That plan was derailed a bit, as Kalen DeBoer announced earlier in the spring that Lewis would miss spring practice due to an injury. Now, freshman tight end Marshall Pritchett has been added to the injury list, according to Bama247.
Alex Scarborough of 247 Sports reports that Pritchett will miss the remainder of spring practice – the next two weeks – with an injury suffered during practice. Scarborough’s report indicates Pritchett will be healthy by fall camp.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end was spotted in a knee brace in a recent video posted by Alabama’s NIL collective, Yea Alabama, on Tuesday.
