We first got to know Joe Jolly of Sunset Performance Engines in 2018, but just recently got the chance to see his performance engine and machine shop located north of Dallas in Sherman, TX, and we were definitely impressed. Joe has a background in NHRA Pro Stock, and now builds engines for Top
Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, and X275. While we were there, Joe showed us a 655 cid big block Chevy engine that incorporates some of Joe’s latest developments. It’s our Engine of the Week!
