The conversation around women’s basketball sensation and rookie for the Indiana Fever Caitlin Clark has become increasingly vocal, but some of it has devolved into misogynistic and racist remarks about the other WNBA players.
Clark disputed that phrase on Thursday, stating that she objects to her name being used in that way.
“Everyone in the world is deserving of the same level of decency. In answer to a query from James Boyd of The Athletic, Clark stated, “The women in our league deserve the same amount of respect.” “People should not be using my name to push those agendas.”
