Done Deal: Minnesota Vikings Officially Welcome Another Top Talented Star To Squad

The Minnesota Vikings have bolstered their offensive depth by signing tackle Coy Cronk to the practice squad. This addition demonstrates the team’s commitment to building depth and maintaining flexibility as the season progresses. Cronk, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound lineman, brings a blend of size, experience, and resilience that could prove valuable for the Vikings as they navigate the challenges of the NFL season.

Cronk has had an interesting journey in football, beginning as a standout player at Indiana University before transferring to the University of Iowa for his final collegiate season. At Indiana, Cronk made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors and starting in 40 games over four years. His move to Iowa showcased his versatility and adaptability, as he quickly adjusted to the Hawkeyes’ offensive system.

Despite going undrafted in 2021, Cronk’s determination to carve out a professional football career has never wavered. He initially signed with the Green Bay Packers as a rookie free agent, where he began developing under an NFL-caliber system. Since then, he has spent time with other teams, including the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cronk’s ability to learn quickly and adapt to different systems likely played a role in the Vikings’ decision to bring him on boa
