Due to an ankle injury, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was carried off the court on a stretcher during a game on June 20, 2024, versus the Atlanta Dream. After Clark clashed with an opponent player in the fourth quarter,
this incident took place. She had to be removed off the court for additional medical assessment since she was unable to bear any weight on her injured ankle.
Throughout the season, Clark has been a vital member of the Fever, averaging a strong number of points and assists per contest. The club is extremely concerned about her injuries as they attempt to play the remainder of the season without one of its best players.
