Coach Rod Brind’Amour of the Carolina Hurricanes on the state’s expanding hockey fan base.

During the 2005–06 season, Rod Brind’Amour guided the Carolina Hurricanes to their first and only Stanley Cup championship as a player.

Brind’Amour joined the Canes as head coach in 2018 after serving the team since 2010. During his career, he relocated from Canada to significant hockey cities before settling in North Carolina, where he has watched the sport take off.

He discusses his accomplishments, the current season, and the growth of the sport in the Southeast with co-host Jeff Tiberii.
