LUBBOCK, TX – April 16, 2025 — It’s been two years since Behren Morton first stepped onto the Texas Tech campus, and in that time, he has grown from a promising young quarterback into one of the Red Raiders’ most dynamic and reliable leaders. As he celebrates his two-year anniversary in Texas, Morton reflects on a journey marked by resilience, personal growth, and a relentless passion for the game.
The Eastland, Texas native arrived at Texas Tech in 2023 as a four-star recruit, carrying the hopes of Red Raider fans who saw in him the potential to lead their team back to national prominence. Despite early challenges, including injuries and fierce competition for the starting role, Morton’s dedication and drive soon began to shine through.
