“My time at Michigan State helped prepare me for so much more than just basketball,” she said. “It taught me to lead with vulnerability, to fight through adversity, and to use my voice to make a difference.”
She spoke candidly about the importance of mental health support for athletes and coaches alike, and encouraged the NCAA and universities across the country to prioritize resources in that area.
