Sad news as Detroit Lions accepted $100million deal with…
ALLEN PARK — All day, Pro Football Focus has been devoted to the Detroit Lions.
After awarding the Lions their lone A+ grade of the NFL offseason, PFF listed five Detroit players among its top 25 under 25 picks, including standout offensive tackle Penei Sewell at number one overall.
“Sewell is only 23 years old and won’t turn 24 until October, despite having played in the NFL for three seasons already,” PFF notes. He is on his way to becoming the best offensive lineman in the league, having played in 3,359 regular-season snaps over the last three seasons, which ranks second among all players. The Oregon product led all NFL players with a 92.8 PFF overall rating and a 95.1 PFF run-blocking grade.
