Official Raider News: Just In Top Experienced NFL Star Name Raiders As His Prefferred Trade Destination

**Silver Minings: Raiders Consider Trading for Matthew Judon**

Should the Las Vegas Raiders bolster their pass rush with a veteran addition?

Despite having strong edge rushers in Maxx Crosby and Malcolm Koonce, the Las Vegas Raiders might benefit from adding more pass-rushing talent in a league that favors passing offenses. Alex Ballentine from Bleacher Report suggested several potential trades for the Raiders, including acquiring New England Patriots pass-rusher Matthew Judon.

Ballentine argued that the Raiders’ success in 2024 will heavily depend on their ability to pressure quarterbacks. He noted that Maxx Crosby was among the top pass rushers last season, Christian Wilkins provides a strong interior presence, and Malcolm Koonce had a strong finish to the season.

Adding Matthew Judon, even on a one-year deal, could significantly enhance their pass rush depth. However, there are risks involved, as Judon, at 32, is coming off a bicep tear that limited him to four games in 2023. Nonetheless, Judon was highly productive when healthy, recording 28 combined sacks in 2021 and 2022.

Ballentine also mentioned other potential moves, including trading for Cleveland Browns’ cornerback Greg Newsome II and obtaining a first-round pick for wide receiver Davante Adams.
