Galaxy S23 FE Is Leaked To Cost Less Than The Predecessor When Launched

News have it that there is a new series of the Samsung Fan Edition devices that will be launched soon, including the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, which has been the subject of many leaks lately. The latest information about the Galaxy S23 FE reveals its expected price and chipset options in different markets.

According to MySmartPrice, the Galaxy S23 FE will have a starting price of $599 in the US, which is $100 lower than the previous Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S21 FE, which launched at $699 almost two years ago. This makes the Galaxy S23 FE a very affordable option compared to the flagship Galaxy S23 line, which costs $800 (S23), $1,000 (S23+), and $1,200 (S23 Ultra) in the US.

The Galaxy S23 FE will also have different chipsets depending on the region. While most markets will get the Exynos 2200 chipset, which we reported in July based on Samsung information, the US and Canada will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is the same one used in the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This is a significant difference, as the Exynos 2200 is known to have inferior performance and heating issues compared to the Qualcomm processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, on the other hand, is a reliable chip that can handle heavy tasks.

The Galaxy S23 FE is not the only Fan Edition device that Samsung is planning to release soon. A few days ago, Samsung Argentina accidentally revealed an October 4 launch date for the Galaxy S23 FE, along with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet and the Galaxy Buds FE earbuds. These are all devices that cater to fans of Samsung’s products who want to enjoy some of their features at a lower price. We expect Samsung to officially announce these devices soon, as they have been absent from the market for a couple of years. We are excited to see what Samsung has in store for its fans with these new devices.
