West Ham make offer for signing – €5m short of asking price, but pushing Wolves aside

Mohamed Amoura, the star of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, is being pursued by a number of teams, including West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Le Soir.

He joined the Jupiler Pro League team last summer, and he has had a fantastic first season thus far, tallying five assists and 21 goals in 37 games.

Wolves were interested in signing the 23-year-old in January, according to Fennec Football towards the end of December, but no deal materialized. West Ham has entered the transfer race, and Gary O’Neil’s team still appears interested in him.

The Hammers are rumored to have made an offer to the Jupiler Pro League team. They are offering roughly €15 million, which is less than what Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, who paid €4 million to get him from FC Lugano in Switzerland, was hoping for.
The report states that Royale Union Saint-Gilloise wants to part ways with the Algerian international for at least €20 million. The international’s contract is set to expire in 2027. Wolves are considering signing Amoura, but they haven’t placed a bid as of yet.

DZ Foot supports this story regarding West Ham, claiming to have placed a serious bid for Amoura. With an offer of €15 million, which is €5 million less than the Belgian club’s asking, it is reported that David Moyes’ team appears to be in the “best position.”

Having increased his value by a “tenfold in one season,” Amoura may depart in the upcoming window, according to DZ Foot, who does not specify Wolves in their story.
