Samsung Galaxy S24 Revealed To Be launching Earlier Than Expected

A credible leaker, Ice Universe, has recently shared some exciting news about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series. According to Ice Universe’s post on Weibo, Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S24 lineup on January 18, although this date may not be set in stone. The findings above are in line with previous reports and indicate Samsung’s alignment with the current situation and plans to launch the Galaxy S24 series earlier than usual to compete with the high demand for the newly released iPhone 15 series.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S24 series is rumoured to feature the Exynos 2400 processor in Asia, Africa, and Europe, while Canada, China, and the US may receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of either 256GB or 512 GB. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could offer a whopping 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Camera-wise, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are likely to sport a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra might feature a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 5,000mAh battery. It’s worth noting that Samsung is not planning to change the charging speeds compared to the previous models. Additionally, all phones in the series may come with two-way satellite connectivity for emergencies.
